When life gets too overwhelming, it’s time to take a step back from the situation. That could mean taking the day off and staying home to bounce back or booking a weeklong vacation that gives you plenty of time to clear your mind. If you keep pushing yourself to keep working you’ll feel off-balance, which can be damaging to both your physical and mental health in the long run.
STEP 2: CREATE YOUR IDEAL DAY
After your well-deserved break and you’re feeling well rested, take the time to write down the way you’d like your days to look. Maybe you’ll come up with a new morning routine or your social schedule – imagine your ideal day and plot it down. Make it visible so you’ll follow your plan.
